False: This is the oldest scam in real estate: tell the seller what they want to hear and compliment the residence to get the listing. Instead, you should insist on a written, well- researched computerized market analysis to determine the realistic amount your residence will bear in today’s market and price it accordingly. Select your realtor based on their credentials and track record.
I want to price it higher. The buyers can always make me an offer. By pricing it higher, you will be competing with residence that are bigger or in better locations and condition. Buyers will not bother to make you an offer because your residence will not meet their needs. Be the smart seller who will position the price to sell, not sit. Let the other sellers “test the high market price” and drive the bonafide buyers to your property.
